Kochina O. Ecological properties of recreational potential of the forests of steppe area in the south-east of Ukraine.

The objects are natural and artificial of forest geobiocoenosis of steppe area located in the south-east of Ukraine. The aim is to define the ecological features of recreational potential of the forests of steppe area in the south-east of Ukraine and to make recommendations of the effective and ecologically safe use of forest geobiocoenosis of steppe area located in the south-east of Ukraine in recreational aims. The methods are generally accepted ekologo-geobiocoenologycal and geobotanical methods, method of ecomorph analysis, statistical, modeling. The holocoenotic casuality of recreational forest use has been determined. There have been developed the methods and software using which the evaluation of the recreational forest potential of steppe area located in the south-east of Ukraine has been determined. It has been discovered that studied forests are characterized by a higher evaluation of sanitary and hygienic properties and by a higher resistance to recreational load compared to the evaluation of aesthetic and technological properties. Application sphere is planning of recreational activity.
