Essay

An object of researches is a process of creation of the attended active surfaces of worm-gear with the concave type of coil. Aim of work - consists in simplification of the machine-tool-instrumental providing at made worms with the concave type of coil due to the improvement of kinematics chart of forming for providing of high loading ability of a worm hooking. Research methods. Theoretical researches were conducted on the base of forming of surfaces on metal-cutting machine tools, toothed hooking, positions of theory of by-pass surfaces, theory of cutting and theory of planning of toolpiece. Experimental researches were conducted with the use of the specially worked out and made rigging by making of worms with the concave type of coil on the modernized apeak-milling machine-tool of 6R10 with the use of results of theoretical research. The dissertation is devoted to the solving the scientific problem of forming a concave coil worms by changing the direction of form-making move and using rectilinear instrument which forms with worm cutter for evolvent wheels rigid non-congruent profile making pair. The working surface of the instrument was determined and investigated, the kinematics scheme of inner machine-tool hooking of instrument and worm form making was worked out, non-congruent working pair for forming transmission active links. The surface of worm coil produced by a disk conical tool under the worked out chart of form making was defined. Machine tool provision was simplified that makes possible producing concave profile coil worms by more technological method that exists at this time, cutting parameters are investigated, parameters of tool geometry are defined, worm links of greater load capacity are produced.
