Essay

Object - the exploitation process of modular carbide cutting tools for turning in heavy machines. Goal - improving operational efficiency lathe tools for turning in heavy machines by increasing their reliability magnetic-pulse treatment and determination of rational rules of exploitation. Methods - the fundamentals of the theory of cutting materials, materials science, mathematical statistics, methods of group account of arguments, finite elements, theory of probability. Novelty - found that the thickness of the blade element depends on the level of its reliability and directly proportional to the ratio of the expectations of the load on the tool and its carrying capacity, determined the distribution of the reliability of precast cutter between the elements of its design, proven reliability of carbide cutting tools by processing a pulsed magnetic field . Results - developed and implemented in production engineering advice to improve the reliability of cutting tools. Industry - Engineering.
