Object - the processes of functioning and development of the domestic steel market in Ukraine. Purpose - development of theoretical and methodological guidelines and practical recommendations aimed at overcoming the negative phenomena and tendencies, which are obstacles of the development of domestic steel market in Ukraine. Methods - economics and statistics, systems analysis and economic-mathematical modeling. Theoretical and practical results - the results can be used in the development of the domestic steel market in Ukraine, as well as identify and ensure its needs. Novelty - the theoretical generalization and a new solution of scientific and practical problem, which aims at developing and implementing regulatory and incentive mechanisms that will facilitate the development of the domestic steel market in Ukraine and a fuller implementation of its needs. The level of implementation - in the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Association of Ferrous Metallurgy Enterprises, Odessa National Polytechnic University, Odessa State Economic University. Area of usage - the development of productive forces and the regional economy, higher education.
