Chelombit A. Introduction of Rosa L. species and varieties in Prisivashye of the Crimea

The dissertation is devoted to studying of biological peculiarities of 170 species, froms and varieties of 8 garden groups of genus Rosa L. and to dascovering of their adaptational and biomorphological possibilities in the conditions of Prisivashye of the Crimea. Main part of species and varieties of subtropical origin haven't the rest period and this period is the forced one. 15 highly ornamental varietis with maximum pollen fertility (60-86%) for using as donors of pollen material during hybridiration have been selected. The predominance of meromorphous features of leef blade structure of R.indica Lindley and different levels of xeromorphism jf R.canina L. f.kirghisorum Tkarcenko, R.canina "Chongar" and R.canina "Schmid's Ideal" has been established. 63 varieties from 8 garden rose groups and two forms of rootstocks (R.canina L. f.kirghisorum Tkarcenko, R.canina "Chongar") perspective for ornamental gardening and breeding work in Prisivashye of the Crimea
