Holiuk E. Prophylactic pinning in slipped capital femoral epiphysis

Dissertation is devoted to the study of prophylactic pinning on a contrlateral hip in slipped capital femoral epiphysis. The method of determination of skeletal maturity was improved by establishment 10 additional indicators for the patients of puberty. Correlation of skeletal maturity and period of sexual development and developed algorithm of estimation of skeletal maturity is set for teenagers. A risk group is set for displacement of head on the contrlateral hip and the differentiated fitting for prophylactic pinning, application of which allowed to 50% to shorten a testimony to his implementation and provided absence of displacement of head from a contrlateral hip in 100% patients with slipped capital femoral epiphysis is developed. The method of implementation of operative interference is improved.
