Were further developed: the definition of the category "development of the region"; institutional support for regional development; algorithm for the formation of the organizational-economic mechanism of development management in the region. Introduction: organization-economic mechanism of regional development management, including the scientific-methodological and practical recommendations for its formation and implementation, the causal relationships between general indicator and the economic, social and environmental indicators for the region. Scope of application: in regional authorities practical work while forming and implementing direction of regional development.
