Object of research: process of formation and realisation strategy of development regional tourist destination. The purpose: working out of approaches to formation and realisation of strategy of development regional tourist destination. Research methods: the system analysis, comparison and grouping of the data; methods of the retrospective, logic, matematichesko-statistical and economic analysis; comparative, statistical, strategic, spatial that of the cartographical analysis; the programmno-target approach. It is improved: conceptually-terms framework tourism, definition in particular is offered: "regional tourist destination"; concept "strategy of development regional tourist destination ". It is developed: the approach to an estimation a level of development of the basic categories of resources which unlike the existing allows to estimate a level of development resources from positions of the system approach; substantive provisions organizational-economic maintenance of realisation of strategy of development regional tourist destinations Ukraine which provide effective targeting, and working out logic sequence actions formation and realisation strategy of development. It is inculcated: system of monitoring for a level of development regional tourist destinations. Use sphere: regional authorities, the tourist enterprises and the organisations, higher educational institutions.
