The thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodological and applied principles of regulation of regional services market development. Тhe conceptual bases of improvement of regional mechanism are proposed. The thesis contains analysis of the services sector's influence on the social and economic development of the region. Both the current state and tendencies of services market of Zakarpattya are given. The author has worked out an approach to assessment of spatial development of regional services market by means of the Services market development ratio. The ranking of local services markets of districts and cities of Zakarpattya is conducted on the base of the ratio. The sense of the regional services market regulative mechanism has been found. According to defined directions organizational, economical and social instruments of influence on the development of regional services market have been proposed, both for rural areas.
