Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of technology of the automatic submerged arc welding and deposit welding with the low-density currents. The parameters determining the stability of the arc during the process of welding with current of low density were theoretically investigated. The stability of the process can be achieved through the use of the corresponding combined current-voltage characteristics of power supply. The possibility of automatic welding with the self-regulating submerged arc with the electrode wire of diameter 2 - 5 mm with the low-density current was theoretically and experimentally proved, it extends the technological capabilities of this method of welding.
