Postemska I. Security and defense policy of the unified Germany. 1990-1998.

The thesis is based on a comprehensive analysis of the process of development and implementation of the security and defense policy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1990's. A wide spectrum of multi-genre sources of the period under research is analyzed. Based on the study of the main military and political documents, the evolution of the German security and defense strategy is examined. Historiographic works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on issues of the German security and defense policy are analyzed. Main geopolitical factors and institutional mechanisms of decision making in the security sphere are categorized. Groups of actors influencing policy making in the security and defense sector of the unified Germany in the 1990's are defined.
