The thesis considers the transformation of philosophy of science and methodological orientations towards the establishment of modern anthropological discourse. It identifies the trends in scientific methodology which made its antropologization and reveals the essence of the "anthropological turn" in modern scientific thinking, philosophical outlook, cognitive and methodological implications. The methodological possibilities and limitations of the basic concepts of universalism in contemporary anthropological and scientific discourse are observed.
