Essay

The dissertation is the first in the Ukrainian folk-lorystics integrity investigation of national identification of Pydlyassha folk-lore. The work accurates geographycaly-historical boundaries of the region. On the base of the original sources review and survey of the science literature the history of collecting, publishing and studing folk-lore of Pydlyassha during 19-21 centuries by Polish, Ukrainian and Russian ethnographers and folklorists are characterized here. On the basis of a thematic direction and functional purpose of the archaic complexes of spring songs, summer songs and winter songs calendar cycles are brought to perfection that the whole folk-lore mass of Pydlyassha is a component of All-Ukrainian traditional customs.
