Essay

Structure and properties of phases in two carbon nanocompositions are studied, namely, in the coal and in the multiwalled carbon nanotubes filled by the iron. Shown that the occurrence of iron in the coal caused a destruction of amorphous carbon layers, which assists formation of carbon-hydrogen bond sand, as a result, methane generation. In the iron-filled multiwalled carbon nanotubes forms a cementite, austenite and ferrite. With decreasing temperature, the nanocomposite system iron-carbon reveals a unique evolution of magnetic properties.
