Essay

Dissertation is concerned with the solution of inverse problem of marine biooptics, consisting in remote determination of phytoplankton pigments concentrations in seawater. As the solution of inverse problem the method of chlorophyll concentrations retrieval using reflectance spectra is developed, including a regional biooptical algorithm, allowing to determine concentrations of chlorophyll and nonliving organic matter and particles backscattering. Also additional method of satellite information correction in order to eliminate errors of standard methods of atmospheric correction is proposed. In addition, the specially modified method of minimization, allowing to stabilize the inverse problem solution and to simplify the calculations, is used. The proposed method allows to retrieve chlorophyll concentrations and spectra of phytoplankton pigments absorption if continuous reflectance spectrum is measured.
