Theoretical and applied principles of creation of waterguard areas, principles of optimizations and methods of establishment of sizes of waterguard areas and off-shore defences zonal of the rivers of Ukrainian Polissya, are reflected in work, an analysis and estimation of the ecological state of the rivers is conducted. Methodological approaches of development of measures are expounded on organization of waterguard areas of the explored river, requirement basins to the conduct of economic activity in waterguard areas, organization of recreation, economic ground and estimation of efficiency of engineering-biotechniques measures of organization of waterguard areas of the rivers of Ukrainian Polissya.
