Mathematical model of heat-mass transfer and viscoelasticity of wood during drying, which takes into account variables anisotropic heat-mechanic characteristics and accumulation of irreversible deformations, is synthesized, object-oriented software realizing the model by the finite element method is developed, an optimization problem for choosing regime parameters of drying considering restrictions on the strain is formulated and solved.
