In dissertation work the solution of an actual scientific problem of development of criterion of auger clogging and designing of the algorithm of automatic control by shearer loaders from the viewpoint of decreasing of energy intensity is offered. The sliding average ratio of instant magnitudes of engine power of the drive of the cutting which are measured with a time shift equal to the quarter period of auger rotation is recommended as a criterion of auger clogging. The condition of beginning of auger clogging for the system of automatic control is formulated, and the parameters of algorithm of automatic control by the shearer loader from the viewpoint of decreasing of energy intensity are determined in dissertation work during research of dynamics of criterion of auger clogging. The simulation of working of the system of automatic control by the shearer loader on thin seams in accordance with algorithm offered in dissertation work is carried out. The results of simulation have shown the decreasing of energy intensity by 40 - 50 % while transition to the offered algorithm of automatic control by a shearer loader. The adequacy of the simulation model of the system of automatic control by the shearer loader to a real system is confirmed with the help of general methods of the analysis of random data. The offered method of automation of work of shearer loaders mode is recommended to application in Dongiprouglemash Institute while designing automatic system of control by shearer loaders of new generation for thin flat seams.
