The object of investigations is the processes of interaction of the electrohydraulic unit with operational environment ensuring the complete transfer of energy accumulated in the pulse current generator to the treated object. The goal of investigations is the development of electric power installations and systems to perform electrohydraulic processes ensuring efficient and highly productive work in various industries. Theoretical investigations are based on S.K. Godunov's method, high-level statistical methods, and application of elliptical integrals and graph models. The thesis describes the development of theoretical statements determining the influence of the vapour-gas cavity of a powerful discharge on the object of electrohydraulic treatment. Based on the foregoing and the statistical analysis of experimental data, regression relationships are obtained between such discharge parameters as current, voltage, process duration, pressure and such characteristics of the electrohydraulic unit as battery capacity and operating battery voltage enabling to design electrohydraulic units with a specified accuracy. A new scientific approach is proposed with regard to the design of extra-resistant, self-locking (in boreholes) electrode systems of the electrohydraulic unit. Graph models are obtained for the functioning of the unit in normal and emergency modes, ensuring safe and efficient work of the maintenance personnel. The "Methods of using discharge-pulse technology to remove deposits from internal surfaces of drainage pipelines at operating mines and mines to be closed" were approved by the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine. Results of calculations were implemented by Donetsk Energetic Plant in the process of developing Impulse-4 electrohydraulic unit. Developed technologies were implemented at mines of Donuglestrukturizatsiya Region Board, State Enterprise, in the process of cleaning pump column pipes. The application is coal and electrotechnical industris.
