The thesis comes as a complex historical study of the Czechoslovakian public organizations' involvement in the social and political life of the state in 1918-1938. The dissertation considers the process of how the public organizations merged in the Czechoslovakian Republic and studies their further developments with regard to the law regulations of the time. It also points out that being an instrument of influence the public organizations had dramatic influence on the social and political scene at the time of the 1st Czechoslovakian republic. The consideration is given to the basic forms of social and political activities of amateur sports' organizations. The dissertation also looks into the specific aspects of social and political activities of women organizations. Apart from it the study focuses on the analysis of ethnic minorities contribution to the social and political processes of the 1st Czechoslovakian republic.
