Pukhovets D. Activity of Constantine the Great in sphere of domestic policy (306-337 AD.).

This thesis, based on a wide range of sources and analysis of research literature, investigates the activity of Roman emperor Constantine the Great in sphere of domestic policy. It characterizes political career of Constantine the Great, peculiarities in his achievement of political power, political style of the ruler. Thesis analyzes the religious policy of the "first Christian emperor", ascertains the reasons of Constantine's conversion and purpose, which had the ruler, when he was supporting this religion. It explores certain activity of emperor in favour of Christian Church. The scientific research divulges peculiarities of domestic policy of Constantine the Great at key spheres: administrative policy, social sphere, economy and military policy
