Physicochemical characteristics of the Cu-Co-Fe oxide system, supported on the silica gel and SiC, and catalytic activity in the reaction of CO oxidation have been researched. It was shown, that active phase of the given catalysts remains in the CuO view. It was established, that nanofibers treatment by HF promotes the formation of the Cu2(OH)3NO3 phase on the surface, but does not promote its stability in the superficial layer of catalyst. On the surface of nanofibers, which were treated by the mixture of acids (HF + HNO3), the cavities are formed, that is favorable for the formation of Cu2(OH)3NO3 phase in them, which is stable during total catalytic process. Catalytic CO oxidation for the indicated catalysts is described by the Mars-Van-Krevelen equation in the wide concentration range of reagents.
