Kravchuk R. Peculiarities of black alder stands forming in terms of the Maleh Polissya.

Research object - black alder stands in the Maleh Polissya. Purpose of work - study of current state, peculiarities of growth and productivity of the black alder stands, finding of the regularity their spatial structure forming, establishment of the dependences between the morphometric parameters of crowns and trees growth by thickness and development on this basis of practical recommendations concerning the proper growing of the black alder stands in the conditions of the Maleh Polissya. Research methods - during realization of researches such methods were used: forest valuation - for the taxation of the sample plots and characteristic of tree stands; comparative ecology - for the typological analyse of the forests; geobotanical - for the study of the ground cover and mathematically-statistical - for processing of experimental data. Scientific novelty of the got results - for the first time was conducted silvicultural investigations of the black alder stands in the Maleh Polissya, studed their current state, found the dynamics of growth and productivity of the black alder stands in different forest types. I was researched the natural regeneration in the black alder stands of the Maleh Polissya and offered the practical recommendations concerning the cleaning cutting in the black alder stands, calculating as for the one hectare as for the one "future tree" related to the target diameter of the mature stands. Practical value of the got results - in the dissertation work was the optimally numbers ot the black alder trees on the one hectare for the obtaining of the target diameter of the mature stands in the planned clear cutting age determined and the practical recommendations concerning their management relative cleaning cutting of the variable intensity produced. The results are recommended for the use in the forestry enterprises of Maleh Polissya during cleaning cutting in the black alder stands.
