Havrylyak M. Ecological substantiation of coal mines waste dumps phytoremediation.

The thesis covers the search of ways to solve the problem of waste dumps phytoremediation, which defines its topicality and practical value. Theoretical, methodological and ecological approaches of coal mines waste dumps phytoremediation upon oilseed plants growing and mineral fertilizers usage are disclosed in the thesis. The usage of new type of capsulated fertilizers on the base of natural sorbents and lignin for additional fertilizing of plants-phytoremediants is suggested as an alternative way when making coal mines waste dumps phytoremediation. We had achieved that adaptation of rape plants to ambient conditions, polluted with heavy metals, was provided by alteration of some morphological-anatomical and physiological-biochemical rearrangements: growth indicators, photosynthetic pigments and carbohydrates, change of mineral elements content, oxidative stress and antioxidant system indicators, protein, free amino acids, amides and other ninhydrinpositive compounds. The usage of technical oil cultures for waste dumps phytoremediation has been justified.
