Dotsenko Y. Determining of structural steels' mechanical properties by their electrical resistivity

Dissertation is devoted to the issue of determining the materials' mechanical properties that are used in key branches of Ukrainian industry. It is investigated the relation between electrical resistivity and their mechanical properties. The method of steels' mechanical properties determining is developed. This method is based on considering two informative parameters (electrical resistivity and hardness). It is developed the mathematical model of electrical resistivity control using four-point technique. The analytical expression for geometrical function of correction that should be putted in the electrical resistivity formula is developed. The experimental investigations of experimental facility were carried out. The experimental sample of the facility for mechanical properties determining is developed and manufactured. A draft of normative document (SOU) on mechanical properties determining was developed.
