Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study the morphofunctional features of testes in fetuses and newborns from mothers with pre-eclampsia in order to improve the pathomorphological diagnostics and to reveal the reasons of development of various disturbances of sexual development in postnatal ontogenesis. The sectional material is presented by 75 cases of autopsies of fetuses and newborns. The following research methods were used: organometric, histological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, morphometric and statistical analysis. The revealed pathomorphological features of testes are: hyperplasia, hypoplasia, retardation of embryogenesis rates, disturbances of differentiation and disembryogenesis. The use of markers Вах and Ki-67 established the intensifying of apoptosis and proliferation depression in cell populations of testes. By means of marker VEGF the intensifying of angiogenesis and by means of marker to Collagen ІV and CD34 the damage of blood-testis barrier were detected. The found out changes have been as much as possible expressed in moderate and severe pre-eclampsia. The analysis of an archival material has shown that the delay of sexual development in boys-teenagers from mothers with pre-eclampsia met much more often. Hormonal disbalance, sexual, psychoneurological and somatic deviations from norm were noted. The obtained results prove the necessity of separation of risk groups concerning the development of disturbances of puberty in children and teenagers born from mothers with pre-eclampsia, in order to work out the effective preventive measures.
