Essay

A simple model (Simplified modified Lorentzian, SMLO) for E1 radiative strength function is derived and tested in the thesis. In order to obtain the simple expression, we use a semi-classical approach based on the Vlasov-Landau kinetic equation with the collision integral with retardation. Giant dipole resonance parameters with uncertainties are renewed (mean-square deviations) using SMLO and SLO (Standart Lorentzian model) models. The uncertainties are estimated for the first time. New data bases of estimated photoabsorption cross sections are used.
