Essay

The thesis is dedicated to development of low combustibility and fire-formation ability mixtures for improvement of fire-protective properties of cellulose textile materials. The set task was solved by means of application of an impregnation compound on the basis of inorganic and organic substances and introduction of the results into practice. It was established on the basis of literary sources, that it is most effective to use fire-protective coatings of two types for protection of cellulose materials: nitrogen-, phosphorus-, metal-containing burning inhibitors and bromine-containing antipyrenes, capable of forming a three-dimensional polymer for obtainment of a water-soluble burning inhibitor in the matrix of a cellulose material. Products of thermal degradation of untreated and treated samples of fabric were studied. It was established by means of gas chromatography, that the quantity of levoglucosan dicreases five times during thermal degradation, which leads correspondingly to decreasing of the quantity of formation of methane and hydrogen 25-30 times. It was established experimentally, that difficultly inflammable samples of fabric belong to fire-protected materials with moderate smoke-formation ability too. Testing of its fire hazard was conducted, sanitary and decorative parameters were determined.
