Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of influence of saturation by impurities such as O2, CO, CH4 and CD4 with different types of the noncentral interaction on the thermal expansion and polyamorphous transformations of fullerite С60. The effect of the noncentral interaction between the impurity and C60 molecules upon the thermal expansion of fullerite C60 has been investigated. It has been found that the thermal expansion of C60 doped with CH4 and CD4 is influenced by the tunnel rotation of the CH4 and CD4 molecules in the octahedral interstices of the C60 lattice.
