Hrytsay I. The genus Scilla L. within the Flora of the plain part of Ukraine (taxonomy, geographic, ecologic-coenotic and biomorphological peculiaries, population structure and strategies).

3. The thesis is dedicated to the results of the population study of Scilla L. species within the Flora of the plain part of Ukraine. The generalization of the results of the revision of the taxonony of the genus Scilla at the studied territory is conducted. The area ranges of S. bifolia L. and S. siberica Haw. were specified. The schematic maps of the modern distribution of the Scilla species in Ukraine were made out. The coenotic differentiation of species was determined. The age and space structure of the Scilla populations, their density and seed production under various ecologic-coenotic conditions were investigated. The guaranteeing of protection of S. bifolia and S. siberica in Ukraine was specified. The creating of five new nature-reserve object having the state and local significance (the Poltava Region) for protection of the Scilla species was substantiated. The collections of the Scilla species in the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Gardens of NASU and the Botanical Gardens of the Poltava Pedagogic University were enriched.
