The thesis is devoted to experimental and theoretical study of weak distortion structure of real diamond crystals with the application of electron backscattering diffraction to determine the influence of growth conditions on the change of elastic strain state in diamonds obtained by different methods; to develop effective techniques for improving the precision and informativity of Kikuchi method at researching the influence of distributed residual stresses in diamonds on electron scattering in the areas of multi wave diffraction; to use the obtained results for the technology improvement of the synthesis of diamond with required characteristics.
