Essay

The object of research - the process of machining submicrocrystalline metals; aim of research - preserve the original physical and mechanical properties of the metal billet with submicro-and nanocrystalline structure; methods of research - the natural thermocouple, three-component dynamometer, weighing method, finite elements method, microscopy, X-ray analysis; theoretical and practical results - the analytical dependence of grain growth in metals with a submicro-and nanocrystalline structure, taking into account the peculiarities of their behavior, were obtained; the grain growth rate was refined in the formula for determining final crystallite size; the physical features of the cutting process, state of the surface layer and performance metal submicrocrystalline were studied; the dependencies that relate the value of the final grain size structure with elements of the regime of cutting - cutting speed and feed were obtained; science novelty - the science-based approach to the definition of rational parameters of edge cutting of metal with submicrocrystalline was proposed; degree of implementation - JSC Lekhim-Kharkiv (Kharkiv), "Institute of the spine and joints pathology" (Kharkiv), NTU "HPI" (Kharkiv); branch of application - machine manufacturing technology, implantology, pharmaceutical industry.
