Essay

The object is the technological process of the air-plasma cutting. The subjects are processes in the source of feed and in the system "source of feed is plasma arc". The purpose is development of source of feed with quasi-resonant principles of commutation for the plasma cutting of metals and alloys. Methods: position of fundamental theory of the linear and nonlinear impulsive systems, mathematical and physical design, numeral methods of mathematics and experimental researches with the use of the dedicaded system of scientific researches on the basis of the personal computer on a model and industrial prototypes of complex for the plasma cutting. The result - the source of feed is developed with quasi-resonant principles of commutation for the plasma cutting of metals and alloys, that allows considerably to improve techno-economic descriptions of technological equipment for the air-plasma cutting and his electromagnetic compatibility with the network of feed. Application areas: engineering,, shipbuilding, metallurgical industry.
