Essay

Object: reparative regeneration of the rat’ femur in the conditions of modeled hypothyroidism; reparative osteogenesis in patients with fractures of long bones in the conditions of endemic regions of Ukrainian Carpathians with iodine deficiency. Aim: to improve of the results of the treatment of patients with fractures of long bones in the conditions of iodine deficiency based on the research of staging and temporal characteristics of the reparative osteogenesis. Methods: clinical, X-ray, ultrasonic diagnostics, transmission electron microscopy, statistical. For the first time the morphological analysis of reparative regeneration in the bone defects of the femur of the rats in the condition of experimental hypothyroidism was carried out. In the results of this the new knowledge about proliferation and differentiation of the cells was gained. Staging and temporal features of reparative osteogenesis in the condition of action of endemic risk factor like an iodine deficiency were determined. For the first time it was found out that in the conditions of induced hypothyroidism deceleration of repair of long bones was revealed as a result of a disturbance of proliferation and differentiation of the cells and tissue components. For the first time methods of treatment of the patients with long bones fractures in the conditions of endemic regions with iodine deficiency were grounded in the experiment and developed. Algorithmic scheme of treatment tactics for the patients with long bones fractures in the case of reparative osteogenesis course in the condition of endemic regions with iodine deficiency. Thyroid disfunction was revealed in the patients with reparative osteogenesis disorders which living mountain regions. Based on staging and temporal features of reparative osteogenesis of patients with long bones fractures in the condition of endemic regions with iodine deficiency the external fixator for reposition of fragments of long bones and compression osteosynthesis was created (patent UA 49002). Traumatology and orthopaedy.
