Essay

Main research results of studies on nephropathologies in cattle in poisoning with pyrrolizidine alkaloids of Cynoglossum officinale and Senecio jacobaea have been presented in the thesis. Functional hypertrophy, nephrotic acute necrosis of canaliculi, nephrosis with tubulorexis, glomerulonephrotubulonecrisis are develops in poisoning. It has been estimated that character of pyrrolizidinogenic nephropathologies depends on those processes, which develops in animals poisoned with pyrolizidine alkaloids in the liver. The evidence of that functional nephrotic hypertrophy develops in a result of evacuation of metabolites of pyrrolizidine alkaloids from the body, and nephrotic acute necrosis of canaliculi occurs as a result of action of metabolites and pyrrolizidine alkaloids of small volume on kidneys has been obtained. It has been proved that the main factors in development of nephrosis with tubulorexis are pyrrolizidine alkaloids carried into kidneys by the blood. Glomerulonephrotubulonecrosis occurs as a result of pyrrolizidine alkaloids and metabolits influence. This metabolits are forms by hepatic deficiency. Under the influence of exogenic albumin heaviness of pyrrolizidinogenic nephropathologies becomes easier.
