Essay

The thesis deals with numerical modeling of hydrothermodynamics of shallow water basins with the bottom vegetation. As a result the new integrated model that includes interacting models of circulation, waves, sediment transport and ecodynamics is developed. The influence of wind waves on currents is investigated. It was pioneer to consider the heat exchange with the bottom due to solution of heat conductivity equation in upper layer of bottom sediments. Developed model can be applied to predict both the cooling water transport and mixing and spreading of salt from water desalination plants and theirs impact on ecosystem of water basin.
