The Thesis deals with a topical problem of orthopaedics and traumatology: shin lengthening with drive intraosteal distraction devices. The developed drive intraosteal device makes it possible to lengthen the shin-bone substantially. The drive is enabled by intermittent pressure effect exerted through the soft tissues of the shin onto the 'wings' of the drive.
