Pikul Y. Training of officer personnel in military educational establishments of the Russian empire (1861–1914)

The object of the research: system of military education of the Russian empire in 1861-1914. The dissertation purpose is study of formation and functioning of military education of the Russian empire in the certain period, and also definition of the factors, which influenced efficiency of preparation of the officer corps of the Russian army. Methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, problem-chronological, historical-comparative, system-structural. Scientific novelty of the dissertation: in work for the first time in Ukrainian historiography the complex research of different aspects of preparation of the officer corps of the Russian empire in second half of ХІХ - in the beginning of ХХ century with use of different groups of historical sources is carried out. Practical value: the materials of research can be used in preparation of educational materials on a history of Russia and Ukraine, special courses on political and military history, at a spelling of popular scientific works on a history of the Russian army and fleet. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
