Essay

The interaction and fusion of deformed, axial-symmetric nuclei are considered in a wide range of the mass numbers. All possible orientations of nuclei are taking into account. The analytical expression for energy of nuclear interaction of the axial-symmetric, arbitrary-oriented nuclei, which takes into account all linear and quadruple terms of deformation parameter and linear terms of high multipolarity, is proposed. The relatively simple method for approximate calculation of a nuclear-nuclear interaction between deformed, arbitrary-oriented nuclei is presented. The influence of a hexadecapole deformation and all possible orientations on the capture cross section calculations is shown.
