Essay

Some features of the regulation of polyketide antibiotics biosynthesis simocyclinone D8 in S. antibioticus T 6040, lipomycin in S. aureofaciens T 117, avilamycin in S. viridochromogenes T 57 and landomycin E in S. globisporus 1912 have been studied. Possible models of simocyclinone D8, alfa-lipomycin and avilamycin biosynthesis in the strains S. antibioticus T 6040, S. aureofaciens T 117 and S. viridochromogenes T 57 respectively were proposed. For the first time we constructed derivative of the E. coli transposon Tn5 that contains two constitutive promoters PErmE and Ptcp. With the help of such modified transposon we managed to verify a lot of new previously unstudied genes including regulatory genes in S. globisporus 1912.
