Essay

As a result of experimental researches of phase equilibria in melting/crystallization temperature ranges of the ternary Ti-Nb-B system in full concentration range and ternary systems Ti-Ge-B, Ti-Sn-B and Ti-V-B in the concentration ranges Ti-TiB-(Ti~0,5V~0,5)B-(Ti~0,4V~0,6), Ti-TiB2-Ti5Ge3, and Ti-TiB-Ti3Sn, the phase diagrams were constructed for the first time. Influence of alloying additions, р-elements (Ge i Sn) and d-elements (V і Nb), on microhardness and hardness of ternary titanium-boride alloys were studied.
