Lykhachova T. Polish refugees in Russia (August 1914 – November 1917)

The object of the research: the Polish refugees in territory of Russian Empire provinces during the First World War. The purpose of research: to give the complex and unbiassed characteristic of a situation of the Polish refugees in Russia during 1914-1917. Methods: analysis and synthesis, retrospect and prospect, historical and logic, historical-genetic, historical-comparative, historical-typological and historical-system. Scientific novelty: for the first time in domestic historiography on the basis of a wide circle of the revealed sources and in view of historiography achievement the complex research of a history of the Polish refugees in Russia during 1914-1917 is carried out. The practical value of the dissertation: the materials of research can be used at a spelling of research works and by development of educational courses and special courses on a history of the First World War, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belorussia, on a social history; experience of organization of the help to the refugees in 1914-1917 can be useful to the contemporaries at the decision of similar problems.
