In the thesis the historical, political, defense, trade, economic and humanitarian aspects of Ukrainian-French relations 1991-2010 are researched. For this purpose, the basic tendencies of development of Ukrainian-French political relations were analyzed. It was examined the evolution of the legal base of cooperation between Ukraine and France. The peculiarities of Ukrainian-French cooperation in the field of defense and security were defined. The development of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and France was clarified. It was made the characteristic of Ukrainian-French investment cooperation. Comprehended the specifics of joint enterprises with the French capital. Dynamics of interaction between the cities of Ukraine and France, and the main features of both countries in scientific and technical sphere have been pointed out.
