In this dissertation for the first time in Ukrainian folklore study the ethnohistoricalconditionality of female personages of Ukrainian wedding folklore. Ukrainian wedding customs have very deep roots there for their use is observed in the wedding ceremony. Here isdetermined the geneticalspecific character of functions offemale personages in the context of old ceremonies.
