Dmytruk A. International relationship between the Russian Federation and Ukraine in the political sphere in the 1990's.

The process of formation and main directions of development of Ukrainian-Russian political relations had been analyzed. The process of disintegration of the USSR in the context of contemporary geopolitical strategies of Russia and Ukraine has been analyzed. The peculiarities of the relations of Russia and Ukraine within the CIS, are analyzed the main directions of Russian-Ukrainian interstate political cooperation and described the military-political factor in relations between Russia and Ukraine. The thesis that relations between Russia and Ukraine have long and not without controversy, but a dynamic and constructive way of establishment and development.
