Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to synthesis of SnO2-based Co-doped nanomaterials and determination of the relation between their physico-chemical properties, morphology of the surface layer, catalytic activity towards H2 oxidation and characteristics of the corresponding semiconductor hydrogen sensors. Possible mechanism of the action for Co/SnO2 sensors is proposed. Highly sensitive and stable Co-doped sensors for measuring small H2 concentrations were designed.
