The analysis of treatment of 315 victims with fractures of the diaphysis of the tibia was conducted. An experimental biomechanical study of the system "fragments of bone - implant" was carried out on the model of fragmental fracture of the tibial diaphysis by various methods extracortical osteosynthesis, principles of adequate choice and arrangement of screws were developed.
