Essay

Thesis is devoted to questions of improvement of diagnostics and operability estimation methods for induction motors (IM) by analysis of power consumption signal. Analysis of existing IM diagnostic systems showed necessity of creation the method for on-line IM diagnostics with energy component of damage estimation in order to possibility of taking into account additional destroying of IM components. It was proposed to analyze IM conditions basing on energy processes of IM under operating conditions. For this it was proposed to use diagnostic indicators, which are based on analysis of power consumption signal changes when there are damages of IM. For prevail, there were created mathematical models for investigation of most typical IM damages. As result of model's data analysis, it were formulated diagnostic indicators. Basing on total analysis of formulated indicators values, the logical rules for diagnostic of most typical damages and operability estimation were formed. The method for elimination of the influence of supply mains low quality parameters on the results of IM diagnostics was developed for improvement of diagnostics accuracy.
