Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying of antioxidation, immunomodulation and antagonistic properties of probiotic drugs. It have been pointed that preventive using of BPS-44 and BPS-L drugs for calves and piglets stimulated antioxidant blood enzymes activity and reduced the level of lipid peroxidation toxic product. Both investigated probiotic grugs promoted the activation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes phagocytic function and production of endogenous interferon and lysozyme in the blood where as blood serum gamma-globulin fraction were reduced. The correlations for calf nonspecific resistance factors and redox status parameters under probiotics influence were found. The factors determined antagonistic activity of probiotics were established. For lactic bacteria this is production of lactate and lysozyme, for aerobic bacilli - mainly antibiotic substances. Protected by Ukraine patent method for correction of calves and piglets antioxidant system and recommendations about usage system of probiotic preparations in animal husbandry for correction of immune status and antioxidant system of farm animals have been developed.
