14 new table grape vaieties and their hybrids were studied under the conditions of the pre-Azov steppe grape-growing zone in 2005-2009. Genetic resources of table large-berried and early-ripening grape varieties were raised, totaling 3704 seedlings. Biological and economical peculiarities of the new varieties and the selection forms claimed as pedigree material were revealed. Based on analysis of the data obtained, an enlargement of the current table grape assortment of the pre-Azov steppe grape-growing zone can be recommended by introduction of the two study varieties, Arcadia (24,3 t/ha) and Kodrianka (34,8 t/ha) that were found promising, into commercial cultivation. In 2011, the selection form Livia (profitability 391 %) was registered in the "Register of plant varieties authorized for commercial cultivation in Ukraine" as a new table grape variety.
